5 out of 5 stars Great Reusable Waterbottles   January 16, 2010

I try to drink a lot of water and used to end up using a lot of disposable plastic water bottles. I was trying to reuse them (both for the environment and for my budget), but the disposable bottles are thin plastic and don't hold up well to multiple uses.

These reusable water bottles are great. I use them daily. They are holding up well, and they are really pretty :-) I was worried that they would have a strong plastic smell to them, but they don't at all. And I like that I'm helping the environment by not using all of the disposable water bottles anymore.

5 out of 5 stars I love my bottles   April 11, 2010

I love my Waterweek bottles! About 2 years ago I decided to stop buying water at the store and start filtering at home and I bought a nice aluminum bottle. That was fine for awhile but I hated having to hand wash it. Then I had a pretty expensive BPF free plastic bottle and it was OK but I only had one. I hadn't even thought about getting 5 bottles and filling them up and keeping them in the fridge. What a great idea! Every morning I just grab one and go. I've had them for 5 months and they are still in great shape. The caps haven't melted in the dishwasher like some other bottles I used to have. They don't have a weird taste or smell. The color and design is very muted and pleasant. I love the tray that holds them all neatly in a row in my refrigerator. With how easy these bottles are to use why would anyone keep using disposable bottles?

I purchased these for my brother's birthday and he loves them. He uses them on his bike rides as well as throughout the day. They are sturdy and does not leave your water tasting like plastic and they are good for the enviorment.

1 out of 5 stars They leak, water tastes bad.   September 8, 2010

I read the reviews and ordered these bottles, believing the positive reviews that said the water does not have a plastic taste and they hold the cold temperature of the water for a long time. But I have found neither claim to be true. To get rid of the plastic taste, I even rinsed them with a white vinegar solution twice and wahsed them by hand and in the dishwasher many times. All to no avail--they still give a plastic unpleasant taste. But even worse for me, they leak. If you put one in your purse or backpack, you will find your purse or backpack wet. I tighten the cap as tight as I can and they still leak. And finally, the white stand is silly and not needed. I am very disappointed in this product.
